SCC Data Center Tour
During the O-Phase we visit the data center of the Scientific Computing Center (SCC) on KIT Campus North. If you want to join, please register below.
Why we need your data
Campus North is a site with access control. KIT has to identify every visitor at the gate before it issues a visitor pass. This is required by the operating licence of the campus under § 9 of the German Atomic Energy Act (Atomgesetz) and by the campus access regulations.
For guided tours KIT therefore needs a visitor list with the name, date of birth and place of birth of every participant. We collect exactly this data and send the list to our contact person at SCC.

What happens to your data
- We only ask for the data that KIT requires on the visitor list. We do not collect your email address.
- We delete our copy as soon as we have sent the list to our contact person at SCC.
- After registering you get a registration ID made of two words. If anything needs to be corrected, message us on the KIT Mathe/Info Discord server and tell us your registration ID.
Before you start
- Enter your names exactly as they appear in your passport or ID card, using Latin letters.
- For the place of birth, enter only the city or town as printed in your document, without province or state. You select the country separately.
- Bring this passport or ID card to the tour. Without it you cannot enter Campus North.
